Alla Prima Painting Workshop

Join artist Lauren Jones for a fun oil painting workshop that explores the ‘alla prima’ technique.

Alla Prima is a direct painting approach where paint is applied wet on wet without letting the earlier layers dry. The workshop will explore shape and tone as a part of a gestural and expressive painting practice. Oil paint, canvas and brushes all supplied. Participants will take home a ‘finished artwork’.
